Bunch of haters in here. Our family plays Scrabble when we get together. I probably have the worst vocabulary out of the 4 but because I understand how to manipulate the board I normally win. I try my hardest to use the triple word scores or block their use, I also try to only allow certain letters to be playable by blocking off others with short adjacent words.

If you got the X, always be on the lookout for A's and O's near eachother for the 18 point Ax/Ox! If you can't score 10 in a round then take a new set of tiles.

timing is very important. you have to make your move when your opponent least expects it. make sure to overtly show that you are confident in your plays and that you believe you can still win. now when the moment comes be sure you remember to lift several muscle groups. you must put your legs, back, and arms into it. do it in one sweeping motion and try to get at least one rotation of the table, that way the letters cannot be re-placed on the board.

Open WWF. Put as many words in as many different combination as you can until app accepts it. So annoying.

Just know how to link words with each other or how to extend words to get more points. The letters you get is a big part of the game.
