Where does it come from? First season, they should Tigh scratching off tick marks on his bottle of scotch<?>. Then, the quantity of refined liquor always grows. I'm not talking about the ethanol that comes from Tyrol's still. I mean refined, top shelf, alcohol.

Were they brewing the stuff or what? How fast can you ferment a top shelf liquor?

Hmm... there was that luxury liner. Perhaps it had a big store of alcohol.

Cloud Nine was destroyed at the end of season 2. Doubt they moved all the booze off the ship? Plus, it was an open port, people were there all the time drinking.

There was a point where the higher ups found out about the still and didn't care. Maybe they started to be more open about making alcohol and were able to refine the process after that.

First season, they should Tigh scratching off tick marks on his bottle of scotch<?>.

He was scratching lines on the bottle to help him control his drinking, not to ration it because there wasn't enough.

But, in the beginning there would be a lot of good booze since it probably was something that was transported from planet to planet for sale. And probably only top shelf stuff was valuable enough to ship from planet to planet.

I wonder where was the weed?
