Dell has actually been really good lately. I must hand it to them...

Some of their deals are just TOO cheap. It makes building your own computer something to learn rather than save money now.

In your case though, I'd put something in their support forums. They usually respond very quickly (if its during business hours). That was the only way to get an order I had canceled. I couldn't even call them about it.

what kind of bs is that? he can only have a dvdrw or a dvdrom? sounds bogus...id be sending that tower right back if it wasnt what i ordered/wanted.

please dont go get a gateway.... i beg you not to get a gateway..... gheyway sucks... the gheyway customer service sucks... gheyway tech support sucks ("send in the computer for maintenence")... that's all they would tell me when i had a minor problem and decided to call them instead of a friend of mine for help..... all they want to do is try to keep you under warranty which is smart for them.... but if you change ANYTHING they wont help you... upgrade your OS and they say they wont help you... i upgraded from ME to XP... cause ME froze on me and had a really bad windows exporer bug and when i did and had a problem with a cd-rw driver they told me they wouldnt help me because i had changed the original system

with this information about dell it seems that alienware is the only decent comp building company out there anymore.... sad
