Explain the ending of "Lost Souls" to me please...

I rented the movie "Lost Souls" (starring Winona Ryder, check my spelling)... I was watching it last night, like at 2 am.. scary stuff! All those spiritual things, good vs. evil, etc...

But the ending was strange. Did that guy actually became the Devil or what? Winona shot him when, before he turned? Hmm.. confusing.

Your thoughts? 🙂
 
i just checked the end of the dvd and it looks like she shoots him as he turns into the devil or whoever.

I guess I was just expecting a more spectacular ending, like she shoots him and he "dies". And as she gets out of the car and walks away, he really turns into the Devil...
 
this movie sucked so much its unbelievable. It made it seem like there was going to be a bigass ending but it ended in the stupidest way possible. i wont ruin the ending I wouldnt waste my time with this movie.
 
I watched most of this movie last night, but for some reason the recording cut off before the end. The last thing I saw, he said his birthday is tomorrow. How much did I miss?

The plot description on Wikipedia is pathetically incomplete. "Other signs come to Kelson as he and Maya take a journey full of strange occurrences, self-discovery and an ultimate showdown."
