Don't worry about it and go get some newer Tylenol.

BTW, Tylenol doesn't help a cough, it is a NSAID. For pain and fever.

Any time you have any doubts about something you've ingested, call your local poison control center. They'll have much better answers than ATers.

typically pressed pills can last decades. the ones you have to watch out for are antibiotics in capsules.

That would be Tylenol brand cold medicine. Not Tylenol (acetaminophen.)

The dizziness could be from plugged eustacian tubes (the tubes that go to your ears.) See if the cold medicine has pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine and if it doesn't, take some (brands of these meds are Sudafed and Sudafed PE.)

Contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide and acetaminophen.. So.. back to your theory?

Yes, dextromethorphan is for cough and acetaminophen is for fever and pain, that's why it is cold medicine. I was merely pointing out that it is not straight Tylenol. If you want advice on a specific medicine, it's helpful to let us know what it is.

I'm not trying to start a fight, just letting you know in case you didn't understand that plain Tylenol doesn't help coughs. Some kiddies here probably don't know that.
