Edit: Ordering page now reports out of stock. Old message follows.

Programmers out there may be interested in this offer if they're still using VS6 or VS .NET 2002 and don't want to use beta software so the free 2005 versions from MS aren't acceptable. No idea what kind of stock they have, so please only order this if you're going to use it (no packrats!) and don't dally!

FREE Visual Studio .NET 2003 Academic Edition

They even pay shipping!

Note: I just requested my copy 5 minutes ago, so I haven't confirmed the validity or stock availability of this offer yet. Considering it may go away quickly, though, I didn't want to wait to receive my copy before posting this deal.

If it comes I'll take it as a sign from God that someday I'll have a girlfriend. And if it doesn't come I'll take it as a sign from God I will always be alone.

Perhaps it's the other way around. If it does NOT come, you'll have more time to get a gf. 🙂

Lets see how much spam and other crap i get in my mailbox and email in box.
As in all situations like this, I think it's safer to use a spamcatcher free email address, just in case. I always do, and have thus far managed to keep my primary account spam-free. Granted, not as much you can do about junk snailmail, but given I already get about 15 credit card offers a day, I doubt I'd notice any increase. 😉

I sent it to my one of my gmail accounts. I guess i should have used one of my other accounts, but gmail has been working well for me in terms of spam.

If you purchase the book Visual Basic Step by Step Deluxe learning edition you get a copy in there. Same for all the other programming deluxe learning sets.

You can find them for around $30.00 every now and then on ebay.
