Experiences with Quicken Loans

I tried to use them for an FHA streamline refi; even though the FHI streamline program doesn't require income verification Quicken did a debt:income on my wife, arbitrarily denied some of her commission income, then declined. Their BS declination caused us to have to wait 6 months for the FHA case number to drop off so we could start over again. I would stay away from them from now on.

I have had good luck with them. I have a closing appointment tomorrow @1 on a streamline refi. They didnt verify my income but they did hold things up a week because we didn't have the 1900 for closing costs in our checking account at the time they checked.

All in all it has been a pretty painless process. I think it was like three phone calls and three documents we had to scan and upload and that was it.

Our original mortgage was through Quicken and it was pretty painless also.

I say give it a try.
