Experiences with NewEgg.com?

I've only bought a couple of hard drives from them & have bought most of my hardware from MWave.
As far as I know, I've never gotten anything from them that was used, but have seen a few posts on this
forum from people saying they got used items that were supposed to be new.
I'm just wondering how widespread of a problem is this with NewEgg.com? I'm considering ordering parts
for a new (hopefully) P4 PC from them because they seem to have a wide variety of hardware @ great
prices.

Any problems in ordering from them within the past 6 months?

TIA!

Never had a problem with them. In fact, all the business I've done with them has been top-notch. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I'm sure most will agree with me.

Heh, I'll let you know on Thursday or Friday (estimated delivery time is before 4:30 on Thursday). I ordered about $2,600 worth of stuff this morning. I have heard nothing but good things about them.

They are great but I go with whoever is cheapest between newegg, zipzoomfly, mwave, and knowledge micro.

All my experiences have been awsome with newegg and I have purchased a few things.

I have never heard of people getting used products before though.

i too use them as well as zipzoomfly

as a matter of fact they have been the main supplier of my last few builds

as well as the new upgrade i purchased just a few hours ago😛

i have never had used merchndise sent from them

i had given them a credit card number to use then realized i was using the wrong card
i called them (not hard to get thru)
and they fixed my mistake and sent it out that day

leadtech tvturner 2000 deluxe is being processed (at level three already, ordered at 523 pm)

Geez, i can remember how many years ive been using them. Not a single problem, ever.

I just recently through together a P4 system with parts purchased through them for a friend of mine. He has never built his own machine before and wanted to learn. Everything is hooked up and ready to go. All we had to do was hook the SATA cable up to the Raptor.. Whoops, after he plugged it in, he tried to align the cable perfect and snapped off the black plastic sata connector support for the HD. Called Newegg the next day and they RMA'd no prob.. 2 days later we were back in biz. Says a lot about the company.

Great stuff and where else can you get a free holographic crystal turkey? I've ordered dozens of times from them without a hitch.

NewEgg easily has the best reputation for an online parts supplier.

I have never heard of anyone getting somethng used from them, plus they have a liberal return policy.

newegg rocks bump.

So far, i've ordered over 4K worth of parts over the last few years from them. All is good.

just bought a 1000 dollar system from them. Everything was GREAT except for the fact that there was no Q key on my logitech keyboard. So I called them up they sent me a new keyboard right away and even credited me 10 dollars for shipping costs. I sure felt like a jack*ss when I found the Q key in some weird cranny of my sofa a month later - but I will definitely return because of their great customer service!

Mwave was great before but I've gotten suckered into newegg with the great prices, site interface, larger selection, and equally great customer service.

One note about newegg, "refurbished" can easily mean items returned from someone else...some still good, some obviously defective. They don't check them unless its obvious. I usually will only buy new from them.

I've used Newegg over the last two years for various upgrade parts and I recently used them to build my new system. I have only praise for them. Everything I got was new and operational. Everything was well packed. The shipping was timely.

I've spent over 5K with them over the past 2 years and have yet to have a major problem. I have received a few cards that looked to be rebagged but they all worked fine so no biggie to me.

I order a lot from newegg and zipzoom/googlegear, and yeah who ever is the cheapest and free shipping too 🙂 never had any problem with both. I order for work so I spend avg 10,000 a month on hdd/video/memory/cables/accessories/etc
