Experiences calling Digital Camera Manufacterers for Support?

Hey, I do tech support for Olympus digital cameras, and we support any camera that you call up with, no questions. We even support the cameras from the late 90's.

I was just curious if anyone has called Canon, Nikon, or any of the other major players with issues with their digital cameras, and what their experience is?

I actually have a Digital Canon Elph S100 and it has battery issues and I have been meaning to call them up, and I am curious what they are like.

Any experiences... let me know!

I've been lucky (so far) with my canon's (g2 and g6). I've heard ok things about their repair service.

it's probably like all tech support...some people will be satisfied, and some people will be totally angry and swear never to buy from company x again...
