Has anyone gotten a PSU with custom wrapped cables from Performance-PCs.com? I'm thinking about their modded LLi V1000AW with a PC P&C 510 SLI deluxe with Chrome wrapped cables. Do they do a good job or are they a rip off?
 
They are great. Never got a PSU myselft, but I've gotten lots of fans, connectors... all sleeved and they have always done a great job!
 
They do a good job. They did both of my PSUs (didn't have the materials or the time, so I had them do them).
 
do you think performance-pcs.com will do a good job drilling 120mm holes on the top of a new lian-li v1000plus case for fans? will i need a fan guarde for it? thanks
 
Never got a PSU from them, but I recently ordered a water cooling kit. They ran out of the tubing I had ordered, so upgraded me to the more expensive tubing for free, and even called to make sure that was ok.
 
personally, i dont see how they could screw up a 12cm hole, but depending on your hardware, they might put it in the wrong place (slightly). I think I'll make the holes myself when I can play with the pieces and see what creates the best airflow.
