bought a bottle from some supermarket the other day. it was pretty good, quite thick, but at least it wasn't powdery.

Hehe, uh oh, I sense some P&N issues here. She's all chinese in my book....
Did you see a Skyline GTR yet?
haha, she says she's just chinese, but when people dwell into it, she explains. doesn't really care.
nope, no skylines yet. will get a pic of one. i will say they've got many different cars here, and the ones that they have look different but are the same in the U.S. have different visual embodiments (example: Toyota's Camry and Corolla have different brake lights and backup sensors. took pix, will explain later)

Central Taiwan is good shit...Taichung is close to my hometown:thumbsup:. You should ask them if you can go through the central mountain pass (there's still a road open) and head over to Tarako national park...beautiful canyons there. After that you can stop by Hua-lien and breathe some cleaner air and enjoy the other coast of Taiwan.

went to some coast the other day, had clams up the hizzo. was really windy... have no idea where to go, but at least these suggestions are helping us decide

Hate Taiwan. Haven't been there in a few years. But the last time I went, it was dirty, crowded and dogs everywhere. Got sick too, I think it was food poisoning or something. Vowed to never go back if it would still be the same.
it'll always be crowded. 20 million on a small little island with no room to expand. Crowded = dirty. Just the dog thing pisses me off. If you aren't responsible enough for a dog don't get one! too many end up on the street scavenging for food and dying horrible deaths.
yeah, don't think you'll be able to go back in your lifetime
Stray dogs are less seen nowadays, and pet owners are better educated. City officials and municipal administrators have taken actions on this matter. In the big cities, stray dogs are virtually non-existent, especially in Taipei City.
Population has gone up to 23 million now instead of 20 million. The street is still dirty, not in a sense of garbage filliing dirty... But just dirty... I am speaking of Taipei City btw... In other less developed cities, it's still dirty...
AkumaX, if you ever get a chance, ask ur girl friend about I-Lan (pronounced as E-Lan)... It's a nice county... It's also my home town....
didn't see that many strays, although i did see some around farms (along w/ chickens and such)
I-Lan (E-Lan) is my gfs sister (elaine). but they'll ask their mom where it is

The night market is a must go if your in Taiwan. Also go check out Taipei101 (Tallest building in the world), theres more shopping and restaurants there. Use the metrolink and stop by Sogo shopping center. Have fun!
yeah we're gonna go sometime soon. its like a 4 hour train ride from here to Taipei though, so we're looking to see if we can stay somewhere around there (gf's sister has a friend who's EAP from UCI, but who knows.) Taipe101 definitely, and hopefully will check out Sogo Shopping Center. Thanks!
