Expedition Impossible - anybody else watching this show?

I caught an episode on Sunday during the day and really enjoyed it. It was the 7th episode of the series so far, so since then I've caught up on the prior 6 and am ready to watch the newest one on Thursday.

Just wondering if anybody else is watching this show. I am really enjoying it. It seems like it would be the chance of a lifetime to go on these expeditions that seem to be all over various parts of Morocco. The thing that is really amazing to me is that one of the teams has a blind guy on the team, and this team has been close to the top nearly every time.

Soo ... anyone else?
 
Wow, I wish I knew of that show beforehand. I totally would have tried to get on it.
 
we watch it when we stumble upon it while surfing. i like it but it reminds me of amazing race which we also like.

i would love to be on a team on that show.
 
yea this show would have been really cool to actually be on. i wonder how the hell people even find out about shows like that before they are airing.
 
Came accross it the other day. I like it but I'll probably forget about it since it is on ABC. I like that it was teams of 3 instead of "The whiny one" and "The Asshole" that The Amazing Race usually consists of. Also I don't have to listen to Phil Koeagin.
 
I've watched every episode. This is possibly my favorite show on TV right now. The Gypsies are totally dominating the game. Every week I gain even more respect for the No Limits team - the blind guy has a real pair. I hope one of those 2 teams win the whole thing.

I don't think No Limits is going to make through this week -
the one dude has a broken ankle

I hope I'm wrong though.

He is on the No Limit team (the "Orange" team) and he is usually holding onto the back of that guy Jeff. it's freaking amazing/impressive when he does a lot of the shit. i think the most impressive one was the kayaking down the rapids. the next one was when he jumped off the 40ft cliff into the water. i couldn't imagine doing that totally in the dark, even if I was holding onto someone.

all around he is just extremely impressive and just amazing to watch him do those things. i also love his sense of humor, he cracks a ton of great little jokes, joking around about him being blind and all. he has the best spirits i've ever seen anyone have with a disability such as his.

they also mentioned that he has climbed everest.

Isnt' that the team with the guy that just messed up his ankle (the episode I just saw)? How did I miss them having a blind guy too? Pretty impressive.

the gypsy dude had a sprained ankle as well, which isn't as bad as the No Limit's guys looked though, but i'm really hoping No Limit can bounce back.

yes it is. the episode you saw was the first episode i saw too, and we kind of made out that he was blind, because we saw him holding onto Jeff's backpack a lot, and because he was holding his walking stick. it wasn't all in your face at all in that episode though. but they also made a comment about it when they went to sky dive, because Jeff was like "well Ike (i think thats his name) has a broken ankle, and Eric can't see, so I guess I have to do it!"
 
I've only watched the first two or three but was kind of disappointed by them. I think I got spoiled by that older show (some of you may remember it, best show like it on the air) Eco Challenge.

I have the rest of these shows recorded but never really want to cue one up for some reason, and I have no idea why because I usually like this sort of show.
 
caught the finale last night. was an enjoyable season for sure. i think the winners deserved it for sure. was also happy to see the rest of the finishing order. especially happy about 2nd and 3rd places.

the show is a cool premise, but w/out the smart editing i think it would be a lot different of a show. that said, i did enjoy it a lot and will watch the next season.

Agreed. I would have been ok with No Limits winning the whole thing, but the Gypsies were dominant and deserved the win. The guys from the Gypsies and No Limits seem like they would be a lot of fun to hang out with.
 
I don't normally watch the show but the Gypsies go to my gym so we support all our members on their endeavors. Was cool to see them win. Every Thursday we'd pick a bar and have a viewing party.
 
overall, even though the show was a clone, i liked it. likeable characters and a great location. i'd sign up for it given the opportunity.
 
yea i would have loved to see no limit win. the fact they came in 2nd with a blind guy and someone who's ankle was nearly broken is really impressive. was glad to see fab 3 come in 3rd. they started to get too cocky and that one guy who was on camera all the time was extremely annoying.

My guess is that Fab 3 would have been a lot more competitive without that guy and all the drama/baggage/crap that he brought along with him. His sister was almost as bad.
