Exhaust Fan cooler for 4830 series

I guess I was spoiled with my Arctic Silencer on my old 6600GT, but with the weather catching up with summer my Shapphire HD 4830 has been heating up quite a bit. I'm at ~45C idling and probably > 80C in gaming.

Any recommendations on an aftermarket slot exhaust cooler? I'd like to spend no more than $30 ideally, although I'll go higher if the quality is worth it. Also, would any 4850/4870 aftermarket coolers fit?

Update: So, update on the Akasa Voretexx Neo Cool Blue- While it does claim to be 4830 compatible, it did not fit my Sapphire model. At first the RAM plate didn't fit, so I dremeled that to the right size. Unfortunatley, the card's capacitors came in contact with the cooler's main heatsink and wind duct, basically making it impossible for proper core contact beyond any heavy modification. I guess my sapphire card isn't the reference design?

It seems like a nice cooler; wish I could use it. I've emailed Akasa over my displeasure.
 
Depending on your case airflow, it should perform better passively than the stock one. I had an Accelero on my 9800gt and it was ~10c cooler at load passively with a side fan nearby, and about 35c cooler at load with my dual 92mm tri-cools. My 9800 only got to around 40c in COD5

Yeah, but you can expect better temps than a stock 9800GT fan. Not huge, but something. My 9800 dropped 5-10c under load in a well vented case when stock fan profile was used on the 9800 cooler, and passive on the accelero. I ended up putting two 92mm fans on anyway
 
Thanks for the info yh125d, but I'd much rather have an active solution that will exhaust hot air out of the case. Bump for more suggestions?
 
If you really want an exhaust cooler, I'd suggest looking for a deal on something like an HIS 4850. I've seen them for as low as $50AR. You could buy that and sell your current card for cheaper than a new cooler...
 
There are hardly any aftermarket coolers that duct the exhaust out the back. In fact I can't think of any really. Most coolers worth their salt don't have exhaust ducting. Most come with a vented expansion slot cover for some to exit, but most just stays in the case to get exhausted by other fans. Your only option that I really see if you have to have one that exhausts all out the back is to buy a new card. What you could do, if you're feeling technical, is get one of the common aftermarket coolers and tape + cardboard to make youe own exhaust ducting, forcing more out the back than into the case
 
Try the Akasa VORTEXX Neo. Only one I know of...lists the 4850 which has the same PCB as the 4830 I believe.

Thermaltake had one for awhile for the x1xx series that might have worked, I own one. But it was more expensive then the neo and I'm not sure if it fits.

I had a Thermaltak (AC clone) that was designed for the X1xx series that I needed to modify but it did work on a HD4850. Modification was required to the copper GPU plate due to the capacitor location on the HD48xx series, and to the shroud to shorten it up.

Had great temps but if your not handy with dremel I wouldn't recommend it.

The XFX had a dual exhausting GPU solution for the both the HD4830 and HD4850 solutions. Outside of XFX, and HIS with the ICEq solutions, not to many players for the exhausting solution.

This cooler seems very promising. I guess akasa is a UK company, but Ebay shows a few people sellign them internationally. I might take the plunge on this, thanks PingSpike!

Edit: Picked one up for $36 Shipped. A little bit pricier than what I intended, but It's exactly what I was looking for. I'll update with results once I get it. Thanks for everyone's input!
 
Accellero S1 Rev 2 is the only way to go. It cools so well that your case temps won't increase w/ a 120mm strapped on it.
