Exercising to boost energy levels?

I've been feeling slow as a slug lately - what's a good exercise to boost my energy level? How long should I do it? When's the best time of day? Right before breakfast or after (and after my stomach settles, of course)? Any pointers? Thanks!

You should do an exercise that you can enjoy. Preferably in the morning, with an empty stomach.

Good luck.

I agree 200%. Ive been waking up early around 5-6am for years and running/gym and it keeps me going all day long. When i stop i notice i get fatigued alot faster, and my laziness factor increases two-fold.

I agree as well. I like to workout in the morning. I'll have a small snack or a shake or something before then eat breakfast after. I also notice when I do not workout I have less energy during the day.

Thanks guys, how long should I run? Also, how long before I notice a difference? I'm not trying to be lazy or do the minimum work possible, I just want to make sure I manage my time properly.

Thanks!

Cardio is the best just to get the blood flowing and your whole body moving again.

I hate to just run so I prefer swimming. Works most muscles in your body, the water is refreshing, etc.
