Exercising on your lunchbreak....

Does anyone else hit the gym or run during their lunch break. I just did both and am wishing I had hit the showers afterward rather than coming straight back to the desk. I'm fortunate because I don't have nasty B.O. naturally....it's more of a fresh citrus scent that emits from my pours....but I'm still kinda sweaty. Does anyone have any "anti-shower" tips to share on how to regulate body temp below the sweat zone quickly? Thanks,

Hmm, I was all ready to pipe in with experiences running on my lunch hour, but we have showers at the office... You could always turn a fan on high and stand in front of it for a bit or pour baby powder over yourself.. :)

What he said. I just splash cold water on my face and on my chest. Towel off and stand in front of a fan.

Ummmm please take a shower. Your BO may smell like citrus to you, but not to the guy that you share your office with.

BTW, I go to the gym at lunch...and use the shower when I am finished.

Same here. No way that I would do that if I had to go back to be with people.

We do have shower facilities, they're just hard to access....spread out in a few different buildings. I may have to start using them when it starts getting REALLY hot outside. I was just joking about the citrust thing....:p I wear deodorant and reapply when necessary.... :) But seriously don't have the foul BO that some people have. I'm fortunate that way. ;)

This doesn't help with cooling off, but babywipes can clean off your stinky bits if you don't have shower access. Not as good, but better than nothing. (I often go for a bike ride at lunch, and used to have no shower access.)

If you have a pool nearby, you can get a good workout in, and end up neither hot nor BO-ey. You'll smell like chlorine, though.

If your GYM has a shower then just shower there. That's what I do before returning to work. I would hate the feeling of being sweaty and/or stinky while having to work in an office enviroment.

Yes, you do. You can't smell it on yourself, but I feel for the poor guy who shares your office. You can never smell your own BO.
