For games, the main reason to allocate stats is in regards to the class/profession of the character and to equip items. OP has not played D&D.

For example, a warrior would benefit from high str and con so it makes no sense to roll one with high int and will.

So maybe OP is asking what we really want to do in life?

Race: Human
Class: Berserker

Willpower:1
Constitution:1
Intelligence:30
Agility:16
Dexterity:1
Strength:1

All I would do is rage all day and lose it. No need for willpower considering I lose it easily. No need for constitution or strength because I would be a total wimp, a bark without a bite. I would need to be highly intelligent to be able to make intelligible rants and enough agility to rant over several different topics at once. No need for dexterity as my tantrums will be directed at anyone and anything.

Every Ivy League 6' + Jock on a Sports Team, with near perfect GMAT/ LSAT, and MCATs and a 4.0 GPA in a difficult Science/Engineering major.

There are more than you think.

Hard work can get you fantastic grades. Intelligence, constitution, and to some extent strength are not entirely within your control. Most people are average intelligence. Health conditions can limit constitution and strength. Charisma can be modified in a number of ways. Simply put, I don't know of anyone that fits the idea of maxed out stats. Marilyn Monroe is the closest I can think of.
