Execution Date Set for McVeigh

Just a quick little note I caught from www.talkcity.com...

"On May 16, Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh will become the first federal prisoner to be executed in 38 years. Considering he is responsible for the 1995 bombing that killed 168 people, can you really argue against the death penalty here"

He said he was sorry. What more do you want! We should forgive and forget. I say, let him out! I would give him a job at my company.

Just saying "I'm sorry" for killing 168 people doesn't do it for me. He killed them, he has to pay the consequences.
Fry the bastard.

Killing 168 people can't be an accident, but is done on purpose.

Note: this doesn't mean he should be executed. Turning him into a mindless drone would be more logical and also more profitable for society.

I knew someone that died in the bombing, their family is still in tears. Is he dying by lethal injection or what?

I'm opposed to the death penalty in almost all cases. The few exceptions are genocide, mass murder, and abortion. I think McVeigh qualifies on the second count.

Perhaps he will tell us before he dies why he felt compelled to do something so dreadful. 🙁

Death is too easy for this bastard. It kind of makes you hope there is a place called hell for garbage like McVeigh.

Why people kill?

desires, most likely coming forth out of earlier experiences.

Its about time. I am glad we are no longer spending tax money to feed and house this sick bastard. Too bad that whole "cruel and unusual punishment" thing prevents us from giving him true justice. Something like putting him in a barn, putting his unit in a vice, clamping it, and removing the handle. Then hand him a butcher knife and set the barn on fire. Sounds good to me.

I am usually 100% for the death penaly but in this case I oppose it.

WHY?

Because this is what he wants, to be released from the agony of a life of inprisonment. Since this would be a mercy to him, make him live and suffer preferably in our worse prison in solitary confinement.

Cruel, I think not (enough).

Thats giving him what he wants since he did ask for it after all. Make him stay here and suffer (I guess he will anyway if he dies).

Wonder if there are any buildings slated for demolition that could be of use? Just park his ass in there and let him wait for the thunder.

I'm sure we could find someone that would let us blow their building to rid outselves of this bastard.

I do hope for his sake that he truly did do it (eluding to the controversy that it was a setup)

i thk they should kill him with an mp5, the most versatile SMG out there, I wouldn't go p90 cuz that's pretty much spray and pray

My favorite teacher in highschool lost a close relative in that explosion . I will never forget the look on her face when I walked into class telling her about the bombing. To this day it chills me to the cord. Not to mention the sight of the fire man caring the lifeless baby girl out of the wreckage... that site will never leave the back of my mind. I think for McVeigh ... we oughta let some of the Oklahoma Native American Indians reinacct some of the old toture practises that were done hundreds of years ago. There can be no death painful enough to make up for the loss of so many lives.

Does any one remember the name of the movie where Chuck Norris shoves a grenade in the terrorist mouth, then as he begins walking away, he pulls the pin? T. McVeigh needs to have that done.
