Somehow my Registry got fvcked up and now none of my programs open...such as MSword or anything else. .basically it says it cannot locate file or something like that...anyhelp? only my IE explorer and FF work. Everything works fine except programs...
 
If System Restore is still enabled, then you could try rolling back in the System Restore history to a point where that wasn't happening. Good luck 🙂

BTW run a couple of virus scans before you do that. The stickied Consolidated Security Thread at the top of the Software section has some free online virus scanners listed, I heard good things about the Panda and TrendMicro ones and would also try Kaspersky's too.
 
sounds like a virus of some sort. What happened is your $PATH variable got messed up. you can check it by going to a command prompt and typing "PATH" (no quotes). post the output.
