"I can't stop vomiting". It worked for me. Of course I couldn't go have fun or anything because I couldn't stop vomiting.
Haha one of my former coworkers used that all the time...and it was annoying.
It was either
1) She was lying (and she's admitted that to me before)
2) She was still recovering from the previous night's hangover (which was a regular weekday, usually Thursday to get off on Friday)
And speaking of which, one of our needed techs called in today (Christmas day), without any reason at all. That sucked.
