So let me get this straight ... He's accused of killing some guy, and will be charged with man slaughter ... but they're waiting until Monday to let him turn himself in?

Why?

If I had those same accusations, I'd be in cuffs right now. If people want equality in this world, it's got to come from the bottom and from the top. No special-treatment for celebrities and athletes, and equal treatment for the poor and uneducated. My guess is that uneducated covers both ends of the spectrum.

he seems like a good guy. the only interview I've seen of him while he was at his home included him shooting his guns. In his autobiography he claimed to have almost killed people on accident.

Jayson Williams is an ASSHOLE!!:| I remember when he was on David Letterman and he kept making fun of him...I don' t even like Letterman, but this guy went too far. And when he's commentating, he's even worse than Charles Barkley.

Now he goes and does something stupid like this?? Lock his ass up...NOW!!:| Don't let him wait.

Agreed. He is a reckless idiot that is a danger to society. If he "almost" did this several times before then he was a KNOWN reckless idiot who had no business owning a weapon. And if he wasn't famous/rich he would be locked up right now instead of being ALLOWED to turn himself in later (you know kind of like the rest of us would be). I hope they bring his autobiography in to trial (if it goes there). If you are a self-acknowledged idiot you should have to pay the price.

And no I am not one of those who think that weapons should be outlawed. But I sure do advocate some sort of training and competency test to own one. That won't save all lives but it just might save some.

Is this the retired Jayson Williams? There is about three Jason Williams that I know of.

One is in college still, the other plays for Orlando, or so I thought, and one was a retired b-ball player that was on MTV cribs.

He hasn't been charged with anything yet so that is the reason why the police have not arrested him. The police are probably working on finishing up the charges themselves......Don't get so bent outta shape over nothing.

white chocolate is my favorite point guard...that's why i was freaking out when you said he killed someone 😀 jason raps but he doesn't kill people 😉
