I've been pondering the thought for a while, of a service that would send me an SMS alert for an incoming email. Of course I'm on the iPhone that does not "push" email. Also, I began to get frustrated with my cluttered emails. I knew Gmail offered a lot, alas in my researching, I found this

Your mobile carrier has an email tied to your number. When you receive an email, in a form of a SMS text. In addition, I'm sure you can check it via carrier's website or email client.

Gmail has the ability to put labels on certain emails to be forwarded. Sounds like an option for business users? Forward corporate email > Gmail inbox === filter for corporate email only > Forward to mobile carrier's email > SMS email = vibrates iPhone

Sounds do-able to me, as I would find corporate texts to be non-html in text format only?

Here is a list of many websites to take full advantage of Gmail

pm you with me on this one? :D

does it seem as fast as it is marketed for transferring files? Or is it only just a size increase?
