exchange at compusa without receipt?

was wondering if anyone had any luck exchanging an item still sealed but without a receipt. got it as a gift and want the newer model. tia.
 
If you really bought it there, you might have a chance with them looking up your credit card history, but since you got it as a gift, I'd say no chance.

Why even return the item to CompUSA? People on EBay are more than willing to pay you above and beyond the retail price for your item. Try selling it on EBay. 😉

Even people on ebay are not that ignorant.
Does the item still have that white CompUSA sticker on it ? (with their sku and stuff)
You can try but don't be mad if they shot you down.
The most you can get is store credit.

Yes, people will pay more than retail at Ebay. Have you checked out some of the auctions lately?
