Alright, we use small business server 2003, exchange, and currently have company.com, with our local domain being company.local.

We now have newcompany.com and we want new emails to be setup to send and receive. We use pop3 connector and virtual smtp server, sending works, receiving from both works if i setup 2 logins for each user in the connector.

Here's the problem. We want newcompany.com to be sendfrom address from emails. I changed recipiant policy and added new SMTP, without setting primary. We can receive from both emails, and can send from company.com, however, the second i change the default/primary smtp to newcompany.com (happens both globally and under each user), pop3 connector fails to deliver any new email to that address (or any if set globally).

Sending from (reply to address) looks okay, but now no email is distributed with the pop3 connector. The second I change the email to company.com (I've been testing for a single user for now), receiving new emails work just fine. Also, logging into the mail server (webmail) shows the emails there--the pop3 connector checks it, and deletes it from the mail server, but does not distribute it to the mailboxes.

I have to get this done by tomorrow for new company name change! any help would be appreciated. If it helps. SMTP virtual server was changed to new domain, has not affected anything (both domains are hosted at bellsouth).
