After reading this article, I don't know how anyone could advocate the corporate or socialist welfare state when we've always had it and it hasn't worked.

Likewise, I fail to see how anyone could reject capitalism, when they've never experienced it, because it has really never existed in the U.S.; the only time that was even close to a capitalist era since 1789, was from the time Andrew Jackson left office, until the day James Buchanan signed the Morrill Tariff.

You are hung up on immature political ideas, if you are going to gain any ground with obscure free-association ideologies you need to look to a post capitalist world such as a resource based economy. The old ideas are interesting though, but irrelevant for a future sustainable economy.
