Well, for starters I highly doubt you read beyond the first paragraph. So I'm doubting that your judegment of "biased" holds little water.

If you would, for just a brief moment, take off the blinders of American corporate life, read the article, and consider what a controlled existance you live.

He gripes about the religious right but then expresses a desire to see Al-qaeda detonate a nuclear device in NYC.
Hypocrisy incarnate.

BTW, his fears of suffering under Bush's control for the rest of his life imply that Bush will overwrite the Constitution or that he will be dead before 2008.

That's pretty funny. Although he raises some good points, he lost everything he gained by wishing that Manhattan gets nuked, and frankly, I think it's funny that a Russian newspaper would be afraid of the US. The Russian communists killed millions, yet they're afraid of us? Please, unless we for some reason go nuclear against Russia, they have seen much worse than anything we will do to them.

I prefer Fareed Zakaria's viewpoint on American Democracy. He actually uses facts and comparisons to other countries. All I saw here was a decidedly biased opinion piece mixed with rampant Bush hating.

BTW, WRONG forum. We have a Politics and News forum now. This is politics.

When I saw the subject line I assumed this would be about the Cubs.
lol

Millennium, true about the forum. Fareed does have his moments, but still remains on the US corporation payroll.
His book was a very good read btw.

Woohoo.. an article written by a raving sociopath making very broad generalizations and spewing out anti convservative, anti christian babble while telling us all about how we elect mind controlling dictators! The writer seems to have an incredibly inflated ego, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was a sociopath, judging by the majority of what he wrote. I can't say it's a good or intelligent read, but it certinaly is a pompous and fanatic one. I'm not even saying this based on the fanatical and rarely fact based attacks on Republicans, but insulting one's religion and making subtle statements about dropping a nuke on Manhattan.. eh.. the guy seems like another pompous, bitter, know it all. I've seen a million of em, and none of em impress anyone but themselves and each other.
