is there a function in excel to turn all the text you typed to uppercase letters?

The command is =UPPER( CELL LOCATION )

theres no command (button) that does that for you? if you use that function you have to create a new database.

If you don't want to create another column (or row), you'll have to use a macro. This will do it. You can assign it to a button. If you need to do a large range all at once, just select the range before running the macro.
