Hey. Back in high school during Stats classes I was taught how to do multivariable regression on excel. You have your different columns of numbers and there is a function that runs the multivariable regression so you come out with a nice coefficent for each variable, an f score, etc etc. But I can't remember how to do it and Google isn't helping. Anyone know how to do it? Thanks

Lookup LINEST function... is that what you're looking for?

In the help file (excel 2000) there is an example in the help file of a multiple regression.

I don't know enough about the subject to know if that's what you need or not.

That's close to right, it is regression and excel says it can do multiple regression, but what I'm looking for pops out a huge chart of correlations, coefficents, constants, f score, etc.

Go to Tools -> Data analysis

You might need to add data analysis in tools -> addins -> check analysis
