Anyone have an ideas with the following error?

Right now Im stumped. 🙁 I've done a clean reformat switched from Excel 97 to Office 2000 but no go. I'm running out of ideas.

what OS are u using? I know that windows 98 first edition is problemsome. try switching to a higher OS is that is the case or try switching out the RAM

Running Win98 Second Edition. Before I reformated and did a clean install, it was giving that error. Added more RAM and did a clean install still same thing...

Maybe I'll remove the first stick of ram out.

Still having that error... As for the ram it was a totally different stick of 128. Original stick was 64 megs.

Edit

Tried re-installing Excel and HP drivers but I dont have a spare color ink printer sitting around....

Is it only happening with previous documents or all of the time. A few more details of when you get those errors might be useful.

Have you downloaded the service packs for either version of Office?
