Excel experts, a question for you

I'm using the Macintosh Office 98 version of Excel and when I use my arrow keys, it scrolls the entire screen. How do I get it back to shifting between cells when using the arrow keys?

For example:
I'm in Cell A1 and I press the down arrow key. It should move to A2, but instead I stay in cell A1 and the screen scrolls down.

Thanks!

That's your problem... 😉 j/k

The Enter key will also move you down one cell. Hope this helps! 🙂

If only there were such a simple solution to every problem. 😉

<this is your problem>

I know... 😉

When I use the right & left arrow keys, it also scrolls the document. I just want the arrow keys to move among the cells.

<< OMG, there is a function for the scroll lock key. unbelievable! >>

There isn't a scroll lock key on any of the new macs.

there must be some keyboard function that is changing the keyboard signal so that Excell is reading it as 'scroll' rather than arrow. Look at your keyboard closely.

I just started randomly beating on my keyboard and it seems like Apple-F14 is the scroll lock key...

Thanks for your help though!
