Excel Date Stamp in a Worksheet?

Using Office 2000, is it possible to have Excel add a date\time stamp to a worksheet so it will appear when printed? I used to do this a long time ago with Quattro Pro but forgot the function, and if Excel has one I am not sure what it would be called. I want to print it to the bottom of the page so I can easily distinguish recent prints from older ones. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Yeah, but doesn't that particular option in the header just insert the date and time of when the worksheet was opened?

Ouch! I think you're right, and if so then it isn't going to work.

In Excel XP, if you put &[Date] or &[Time] in for the header or footer, it'll add the current date and/or time to the header/footer of the document when it's printed. I just tried it, and it prints the time the document was printed, not when it was opened. This should do what you need... wouldn't imagine that it'd be too much different in Excel2k
