I have a table with column headers and the data are in columns below. I hit filter and for one column I have a list of 300 cities with multiple observations of data for each city. I select one city out of the 300. Is there any way to quickly in excel select the inverse of that filter? IE switch between selecting that city only, to selecting all 299 other cities? The only way I can do that is to select all items again in the filter and then scroll through all 300 cities and deselect the one city I don't want selected. Any faster way?

You still have to go back into the filter and select all and de-select the city you don't want, however you can speed that up by searching within the filter. You could also do a filter based on "Does not contain" to do the same thing.
