I'm trying to fix a few different things:

1) Let's say I want to copy and paste stuff from C3 thru G8. If I copy C3:C8 and D3:G8 separately and then paste it, it pastes only the values and formats, not any formulas that might have been there. I assume it's trying to help me, but that only messes me up. I can get around it by only copying C3:C8 and pasting that and then copying D3:G8, but some times that means a whole lot more work. Can I change it back to just pasting everything?

2) When I used to type in, say, January-2005, it would default to Jan-05. That last part - Mmm-YY - is how I want my dates to show. Unfortunately, now if I do that, it defaults to Jan-2005, not Jan-05. That drives me nuts. Is there a way to change this back? I know I can change the format easily in cell properties, but it's not as easy as having it default properly.

Please help me. I have no idea why M$ changed all these things when anyone like myself that used them would only be annoyed by the changes, but I'd like to change them back.
 
1) Let me rephrase this. If I select the entire area of C3:G8 and paste it, it will paste the formulas and formats. If I select C3:C8 and then hold CTRL and select D3:G8, then copy and paste, it will paste values and formats. Does that make more sense? Basically, any time I select more than one block of cells by using CTRL, then the paste function (whether I hit Enter or CTRL + V) changes from "Paste All" to "Paste Values" and "Paste Formats."

2) I'll check this out when I get to work. I'm still at home.
 
ok, that is odd. Just do a right click, paste special,"All" to make sure the formulas come along....I'm not sure if there is a setting for that behavior.

Even when I tell it to "Paste All," it won't do it.

And the Regional settings thing didn't work. Fvck you Microsoft. Fvck you very much.
