exceeding comcast cap?

So today Comcast is install dtv service in my house under my name. But we had the 20mb service under my moms name, since the dtv promo includes 20mbs and dtv for a cheaper I'd figure why not get it. But now we have two services, they said to just cancel my moms but here's my dilema. I download/upload a lot and Comcast hasn't phoned yet, im thinking if i get this new service they might? Have you guys exceeded 500gb often and not gotten a call?
 
I've got a 250gb cap, last month went to 247gb. Apparently, the first time you get a warning, the second time they cut you off.
