Reading this story I just can't help but think this is more often then not just the way things are done on Wall St.

I'm just not surprised to read that hedge funds and other large investment firms are getting information before it hits the news and the rest of us get the information. I'm also not surprised they are using that information to get rich.

Its interesting that Goldman has only had 24 losing trading days over the last 2 years..... Either they are God and can predict the future, OR, they have information others don't.... I'm betting on the latter.

They also have servers that have superior algorithms situated at the NYSE and Nasdaq. But yeah, inside information on wall street is very common.

LoL, what I thought when I first made the post. We all know it goes on, but to actually see people being prosecuted is the shocker. If the stuff evidence in that article is correct that guy is just a complete idiot and made no effort to cover up his illegal activity.

At that stratospheric level, they are as untouchable as Bush and Cheney.

IMHO, if someone gets busted at that level of influence, it had nothing to do with breaking the law and much more to do with personal motives and agenda's, like being the object of a revenge scheme, or some other ploy/play that the insiders use among themselves and keep to themselves about.

Sort'a like honor among thieves, at the highest levels.
