Well, still no word. I don't know if anybody has called his parents again or not. I will update once we know more. Today's guesses on his whereabouts are he got into a nice fight at a bar Tuesday night and is in the hospital. Doesn't really make sense, but thats all we have for new guesses today.

Talked to his manager and she called the parents. He left a VM on their machine at home saying he was fine. They still don't know where he is or anything like that though. After talking to some coworkers that knew him better, it seems like he might be in rehab or something like that. Apparently he has some friends that deal is some non-recreational type drugs, so he might be on some crazy bender or in rehab for either the drugs or alcohol. Unfortunately, even if the manager does find something out, we won't be told about it because of all of the company policies with this stuff. So, hopefully we hear from him in the next week or something and get the scoop.

We have a word at my company for someone who disappears for several days without notifying their manager that they are going to be out. That word is "fired." Company policies on privacy are great and all, but if a person can't be counted on to show up for work or tell someone he won't be there, he shouldn't have a job.

we had a guy at another job i was at that would soemtimes go on a weekend drinkign binge and then wak into rehab on monday, and saty there for a while our company couldnt fire him because since he checked himself into rehab he was considered as actively seekig help....smart bastard

Well, it keeps getting stranger. One of my coworkers called his parents directly and they talked to one of his friends. Adam talked to his friend on the phone and said he was in Missouri and they think he is on his way to Phoenix. It sounds like he had some trouble in Missouri though. The friend also said that Adam said he was fine physically. But, he was rambling and wasn't very coherant.

So, once we thought he was probably in rehab, but now he is travelling across the country without his cell phone, car, or Ipod. Nobody has any idea how the hell he is even travelling (Greyhound, friends cars, etc). The friends also sound kind of shady and that makes it even tougher to believe anything from them.

Well, we talked to his boss and his parents called her and said he is home safe and staying with them right now. No other details at this time.
