ewiz has 8800gtx in stock?

Ya, I have my 3007WFP and I really *need* this to play games at 2560x1600.. I'll probably buy one right away then buy a 2nd for SLI later on.. I just hope that it fits in my P180 case, .. my XFX 7800gts barely fit
 
If GTs barely fit, dont expect these to fit.

They are almost 2 inches longer than 7900 series cards.
 
eWiz is very reputable. It's the retail arm of MA Labs (for those who know who MA is.)

It is VERY likely they have the product in stock as most resellers do, awaiting the launch. But they're not supposed to list the product on the site, in stock or not, until the official launch date.

They'll get in trouble for that. 😉
 
Hmm I'm about to place the order... esp. since their office is in the same areacode as where I live (i dont know that their warehouse is tho).. might mean the card will get here super-fast. HMM!!
 
Well, it's available next week according to DailyTech. It's the weekends. By the time they process your order, they'll have it in stock and ready to ship. $645 seems "cheap." I want one!

BTW, I've shopped at ewiz before. Very good experience. Fast processing and shipping.

well, I bit the bullet. it ended up being a little under $700 with Tax/Shipping.. never spent that much on a video card... but the initial dailytech review made me drool.

eWiz is very good, except I've heard bad things about RMAing to them. They're recommending a 450W quality PSU for a single 8800GTX, and I'm going to say a 500W PSU w/ Fortron X3 300W Booster in 5.25" bay for SLi 8800GTX.

NOT SLI just have two X1900XTX's that are being replaced. I guess I could try SLI though eh? :evil:

Yeah, Ewiz showed it as $625 on their site this morning when I saw it.
 
can't wait for some $200 budget DX10 cards come. What will they be called you all think? 8600GT/GS maybe? Then sometime next year higher end cards will be 8900GTX/GT,ect.

I hate MS Dawn... I wish I have the urge to spend that kinda money.
 
Order was just cancelled by eWiz due to the recall. CC was never charged tho, so I can't complain. Just hope that NewEgg or another retailer will have them available tomorrow🙂

Most of the VAR's I've spoken with got their replacements the next day. So even eWiz should have cards for tomorrow.
