Wow, they have a 2 GB Aluminum w/ the same transfer rates as the 1 GB plastic for $50! The prices of these things have really dropped..

Same here, got the 1GB in the silver color. I like it so far, haven't done any big file transfers to test speed but seem like a nice drive. Great for the price.

Silver 1GB stick. It worked well with the first 650MB file I put on it. It appears to be fairly fast but I haven't benchmarked it.

I just got an email from ewiz today about these. They're selling the aluminum and superslim ones. I'm looking for a flash drive I can keep on my keys, which makes the durability of the aluminum sound ideal. But I don't want something bulky. Are the aluminum ones tiny??

I used HD Tach and it had an average of about 10 megs/sec read. Pretty slow. The loop on the end to go on a key ring is also way too small. It doesn't have enough room to move around freely, so it just sticks out in one position.

Cant speak on the others, but the A-Data Jogger is freakin awesome, ive had one for about a year, and you cant hurt it, its in a rubber egg! When my 3 year old cousin comes over i let him use it as a sort of bouncy ball that he throws off the garage wall and then goes chasing it, often stepping on it (only ~40 lbs, but on concrete) and it had nary a mark on it and it has never failed me. Only complaint is it doesnt come larger than 1GB!
