This seems kinda nice. Supports SMB, and not some proprietary, driver needed, protocol. Anyone else have experience with this enclosure?

Like ChillyPenguin said "FAT32" is a bit of a downer. Is there any cheapo network NAS that supports NTFS and SMB? I don't mind a Linux filesystem, but wondering how to recover the data, if the enclosure borks out. Will it format/partition the HD, or you have to do it before installing.
 
i search all nas soho enclosure and all of them are fat 32 format bec. of support on still older OS

speed.....I got no idea.

but who care, while it's still cheapo than egg, and i purchase it online yesterday. i will see the document and find out when it arrive
