...dustmites arent centipedes and mice. there is a huge difference. :p
Oh yea, dust mites are just little bugs that feed off of your skin. I'd think you'd be more scared of them then bugs that each other insects and a mammal that uses your house for protection. Yea, have fun while the mites crawl in your hair, on your skin, and feed off of you.
youre just a tad too nerdy for my liking <3
WTH does that mean? IN my defense, you're too much of an air-head for me
im really not an airhead. i call everyone nerds.. but in your case im referring to the fact that youre comparing things that are completely unrelated and being just plain stupid. of course im not scared of dust mites. i cant see them.. i cant feel them.. they dont bother me. i can however see/feel/hear bigger pests, such as centipedes and mice. therefore, they do bother me.

Wow - you have to love irrational fears. Oh well, carry on. Hopefully you will fall victim to one of your mousetraps before the mouse does.

man why did i look, oh yea i like girls

seriously though as much as i care to look is how much you should care being looked at
criticize? i know most girls are sensitive about their looks, but honestly this internet medium is the last place to feel insecure (cuz real life gives you enough problems)

like the raven hair btw

i have centipedes in my apartment too. those things are focking HUGE!!!! i hate em but they supposedly eat other bugs so i guess that's good. they tend to fall into my sink a lot, which is not too pleasant considering i eat off the plates and utensils that it's crawling around. :( i set few mouse traps for bugs (i don't have mice) and those suckers work really well for catching spiders, centipedes, occasional grasshoppers, etc. it's really easy cuz bugs are stupid as sh*t. you just touch them from behind with a piece of paper or something and they'll jump right onto the sticky stuff in front of them. :p

a little later i was leaving my room for some reason and i saw a tail go into my closet and then into where i keep my clothes (a little built-into-the-wall dresser type thing), so i ran out and yelled for my moms bf and after chasing it all around my room and out into the kitchen, we believe it is behind the kitchen counters. so i went to albertsons and got some sticky mouse traps and put them by the opening to the cabinets (where it most likely got in), in the garage, in the bathroom, and in front of my door. god that is so gross. there was a centipede in my room the other nite too.. and one in the bathroom the next nite. i want to go sleep in my car :*(

I had a scorpion living in my car a few years ago -- nowhere is safe ;)

From what I understand, if you've seen one mouse, there are many more you haven't....

I could never understand how people can be afraid of mice. They're cute and furry and cuddly! However, I CAN understand irrational fears, as I have awful arachnophobia. Snakes, mice, rats, etc etc don't bother me at all, but if I see a spider chances are I will take to running around, flailing my arms and squealing like a schoolgirl.

Centipedes are pretty disgusting too.

The corn field across the street was harvested a couple of weeks ago and shortly thereafter I ended killing at least 5 mice in our house within a week.

Those sticky traps work decent, but I prefer the old fashioned head snapper.

When Hurricane Isabel hit, our storm sewer system was flooded. So of course all the mice and rats fled to the neighborhood houses... I'm still killing the little bastards. :| Poison and head snappers work really well, my dog is pretty good at getting them too. :)

One morning last fall I opened the bedroom door after waking up and promptly had something run over my foot followed by a cat in hot pursuit. It was a mouse. Those little guys can jump.
