EVO battery life got you down? 3500mAh at your service.

That thing makes and already large phone way to thick. That is going to kill the pocketablity of the phone.

Honestly, my battery life was horrible until I figured out the cause. Google Talk. I don't stay signed into that all day and it's fine now.

I've seen similar batteries for the HD2, no way I'm buying one though...as mentioned, the thickness kills it for me. I just put up with the so-so battery life and try not to stay away from a charger for more than 8 hours at a time.

My EVO is thinner than my previous phone (touch diamond) and easier to slip into a pocket as well. Nor is battery life a problem, with 14h and 59% battery left (for me, yesterday).

Now, if that extended battery is thick enough so that the phone rests on it and not the camera lens I'd totally think about snagging one.

Considering the phone is 13mm thick, another 3-4mm would be making it 25-30% thicker, so that isn't anything to scoff at.

For many years people have carried around bricks that are twice as fat as the Evo. I don't see what the big deal is if this provides a substantial difference in battery life.

Yeah I've gotta say the evo really isn't that big... I've got friends with older phones (iphone, htc winmo) and those things were fat.

3500mah though... nom nom nom, that'd be nice for flights and stuff. Once that ps1 emulator gets released im definitely getting one of those too 😀

I had a 2800mAh upgrade on my last phone, and i can say - the extra battery life makes all the difference in the world. An extra 3-4mm is totally acceptable to me, especially considering that my new phone is half the size of my last one.
