Evo accident vid! cool drifting before crash!

The operative part of that thread title is "before crash". Gee, maybe a technique that makes you flip your car on an empty stretch of track isn't the best way to do things.

not to mention it's absolutely an insult to the Evo7. if you don't know how to drive properly on a track, please just sell the car and buy a hyundai or something.

Drifting didn't kill him, going off the track did.

Though that Evo for some reason looked like it had an absurdly high center of gravity. 😕

you can't buy an Evo7 in the states. Evo8 starts at $27k.

a Evo8 MR FQ400 does 0-60 in 3.5 sec. econo that.

In the US, a Evo VIII goes for ~27-30k.

Its a gokart with 276hp basically. I know a guy with one, modded, putting 375hp the ground.

It's hard to tell what caused the accident, but I can't help but wonder whether it had to do with the orange cones scattered across the course just before he crashed. It doesn't look as though there was a cone lodged between a wheel and the frame or body, in any case.

Any car with a rollcage is going to fare well in a repeated rollover situation, just stating that it's not Evo-specific.

He came out of the corner to wide and went off the edge of the track. There was appearantly enough drop to create the momentum required to flip the car 3 times.
