It's a year newer, has a better controller, and the spec sheet lists every single spec to be faster including random QD1 and QD32 reads and writes. Either the spec sheet lies or the drive isn't performing as well as it was intended to.

I don't think I want to ever buy an Evo drive again after this disappointment. Pro all the way.
