If they price this at $199 and keep the family plan data the same($129+$20 for additional line), I might switch again as I just got the HD2 with T-mobile a month ago.
I love my HD2 and I can't go back to a smaller screen.
The EVO has better specs and it has the most important thing...Android...apps and more apps.
Imagine if you have a family plan with 5 lines...$190.
Thats $38 per line for everything.
ATT and Verizon can't touch that type of pricing.

I have come to the conclusion that I hate my Palm Pre. I really want this phone but is it worth paying full price or waiting 6 months for my upgrade. Ah decisions...

Can't attest to the veracity of there claim but it is in line with other reports. I've seen the 6th, 13th and 22nd of June as potential dates. I'm more suprised about the Jun 7th launch of the new iPhone as they have normally been in early/mid July. Of course they will announce the phone before it's available so Jun 7th for the announce with July for the availability seems more likely though Apple tends to announce more than a month before availability.

That's what I do. Since I upgrade so frequently, my old phones still fetch a good price on eBay. HD2 was $449, sold the Droid for $355, not bad. Already scheming for the next one...

What?! Blasphemer! I love my Pre! (especially now that it's overclocked).

Though the Evo does look sweet. I still can't imagine switching to Android after the glory that is WebOS.

I think it's coming out too late. It should have come out a month or two BEFORE the new iPhone. Having it come out that close is bad for it as most people that have been holding off to buy a new phone cus of the new iPhone, are going to get the new iPhone. They should have capitalized on the people that couldn't wait and now I think they are releasing it at a bad time.
