Evil Dead 1

lol, Blockbuster didn't have Evil Dead II for me, gotta get it soon, I think I like it 😀

Ok movie discussion can follow now 😎

<------ Hasn't seen either of them, and is somewhat SHOCKED that baff likes "This type" of film... 😉

And with this post, I become DIAMOND!!! 😀

(And it's been a long time since ANY part of me was anywhere close to being as hard as a diamond...)

Directed by Sam Raimi (of Spider-Man fame) starring Bruce Campbell. Basically a campy horror shockfest. Great fun.

I didn't really care for Evil Dead 1 for some reason, can't pinpoint why. Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness are classics though.

Evil Dead 1 and 2 are the exact same movie, except in 2 there's 2 less people and Bruce Campbell cuts off his hand. Save yourself the trouble and watch Army of Darkness instead (the third in that movie series). In the first 3 minutes they summarize the first and second movie pretty well.

those are gonna be next up for me I think 🙂

Army of Darkness I've seen.
And I thought it was a pretty funny/cool flick.

Edit: Or maybe I'm thinking of another movie. I'm tired. I'm going to eat a can of fruit cocktail and go to bed now......

1 and 2 were extremely similar, the difference being that 2 was what 1 should have been with a bigger budget. I'm guessing they knew 1 sucked and decided to parody it instead of trying to make a true horror film. As for Army of Darkness summarizing 1 and 2 in the first 3 minutes, yes it does, however there are some subtle differences between what is shown there and what actually happened in Evil Dead 2. Kind of cool to see them back to back and pick out the differences.

Both Evil Deads still suck. Army of Darkness was when Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell hit their sweet spots.
