I was considering purchasing the EVGA X570 Dark board but then got hung up on a few things. One, it appears there's no back panel I/O USB CPU lanes, and the other thing is it has high DPC latency according to the Anandtech review. I ended up assuming the board didn't have USB CPU lanes at all. Revisiting the board I stumbled upon a block diagram from the New Egg product page. Looking it over I came across what seems to be USB CPU lanes, but from Gen 1 and Gen 2 headers. Can anyone confirm this?

Here is a pic of the "block diagram" a base plate if using the risers:

I looked over the picture to verify accuracy and came across the PE1 and PE2 part. It doesn't appear as though the lines to and from the X570 chipset and the lines to and from the CPU represent an accurate depiction of the connections. Or am I wrong?

Seems to line up with the official "block diagram" for X570 from AMD. If they're indicating they used the 4x usb 3.2 gen 1 bandwidth to drive specifically the front panel ports, they probably did. Assuming they were able to merge port 3/4 together into the single usb 3.2 gen 2 port.

I checked for a few motherboards I am familiar with and was unable to find block diagrams, so I can't say if the dark has a typical configuration or not.
