I want to know from you EVGA owners have used the step up program? Can you list the pros and cons about this program and if anyone who has recently paid for a new 8800 GTS plans to upgrade to the next gen 2.0 pci-e cards using this program knowing they are supposed to come out sometime in November 07?

pretty much zero cons, as long as the cards are released within the 3 month limit. EVGA is awesome
 
Great program - as long as you know that:

1. You can step-up ONLY to the basic version of the card - SC, KO, AC S3 are not included.
2. You pay the MSRP, not the price you might see on line or in stores. (currently 8800GTS 640MB MSRP = $399)
3. You pay shipping both ways, for both your card and the card being sent to you.
4. They must receive your card before the new one is sent to you.
