EVGA Step-Up Program question...

I bought a EVGA 5200 at the end of December last year. And let's say I registered it a month in a half after...

The 90 days will be up for me for based on the original invoice but as of registered...it is not...

Can I still do a stepup?

step up is only good within 90 days of your purchase

anything over 90 days = no go

what were you doing buying a 5200 to step up? what were u gonna step it to... a 5500? a 6200?

7900gt 🙂 Well, what happens if I registered it on the 25th of January saying I bought it on the same day? 🙂 When I actually bought it on December 26?

I didn't really buy the 5200 to do a step-up..just curious how it worked.

Your invoice is going to have the real date of purchase .. moreover eVGA mentions that they check the validity of step-up claim .. so I think you're out of luck there.

They check the invoice/reciept when you send it in. You're out of luck on this one.

The step-up for my 6800GS expired 2 Days before the 7900 series release, and I was not eligible.
