eVGA: reputable?

I'm thinking about purchasing a 6800GT. How are they, reputation-wise? Do they keep up-to-date on drivers (or would I just use the reference ones anyway)? How are they performance-wise?

eVGA is a good company. I have an eVGA ti 4200 card that was great. Their cards are basically (completely?) the nVidia reference design. They have drivers or you can get updates from nVidia. I'm not sure how well the eVGA 6800 GT will overclock. My guess is that all of the 6800 GT cards that follow the reference design will be close to the same in overclocking capability.

My eVGA 6800 GT is suppose to get here tomorrow. 🙂

I've never owned one, but a friend of mine has one (5700). They seem to be a great manufacturer. I've read reviews on their products too and they always make the grade.

Well, I just received my 6800gt evga 2 days ago, and ordered directly from evga (far cry bundled). Only have a year warranty, but they have a step up program where if you send in a old evga card, that discounts you on a new one. Neat deal.

I installed their 6800GT recently. Works and over clocks like a charm. Their drivers on the install disc are 2 months ahead of the ones posted on nVidia's site.
