EVGA P67 motherboard never got released

I noticed in the rush to make Sandy Bridge builds that the EVGA motherboards never appeared to actually get released despite the press in email and on their website.

Did EVGA know something was up or had they just planned to release later than everyone else before the SATA2 fiasco?

Well I just checked the EVGA.com website and they have it listed under motherboards without being able to purchase but I never saw it at any other online retailers.

EVGA is being very coy about this, by the way. They won't say when they're shipping, nor what the reasons for the initial delay were. They're just stating that their boards will not be affected by the Cougar Point fiasco.

EVGA's motherboard department was devastated when a few of there guys jumped to Asus at the same time. They since haven't recovered and were expecting to release the classified 2 months after release of SB

yea but other companies will be dealing with return shippings and all the customer issues, while evga will have alot less to deal with since they didnt even ship anything out, thats if their boards were already on the production lines... so i would think they'd have theirs out faster.
