I just visited the EVGA website to check out the new 3090Ti, and I found that they are now accepting orders for the RTX 3070 FTW (P/N: 08G-P5-3797-KL ), RTX3080 FTW (P/N: 12G-P5-4877-BH), RTX3080Ti (P/N: 12G-P5-3967-KR), and RTX3090 FTW (P/N: 24G-P5-3987-KR ). And just to be clear, these items are listed as being currently in stock and available to order: no waiting queues or other B.S.

FYI, I went back to EVGA and refreshed the page after typing this up, and the items are still in stock. I hope some of you can use this information to score a GPU: it seems like the long drought may be over...

While this is better in terms of availability, only the high margin cards are available to purchase.

Side note - In my opinion the ti series (excluding the 3060 ti) and the 3080 12GB are cash grabs, most people buying these cards realize this, and nVidia is basically one step removed from scalping themselves for delivering so little consumer value compared to the effective cost increases across their entire lineup of products.

I needed a card now, and the 3080 was the best choice for anything new and in stock with a company I like. It felt icky though.

Honestly a custom EVGA card at their price (about $200 above the MSRP for the reference model) is a good deal. I wouldn't feel dirty at all.

The $700 launch price was some of the best value per dollar that NVidia had offered in generations and EVGA makes some of the best third party cards available.
